There are a number of ways to create a CIP-SOC crosswalk.  The prior vintage (SOC2010-CIP2010) was created off a NCES product.  Although there are now 2018 SOC codes available, that source file has not been updated.  Instead, there are a few different methodologies availble.

In this folder: 
CIP2010xSOC2018.xlsx - This takes the existing crosswalk (available at http://data.widcenter.org/download/SOCCIP2010/blsnces2011.zip) and applies the BLS SOC2010-SOC2018 crosswalk file to relate CIP 2010 and SOC 2018 codes.  The relationships between CIP and SOC have not been reviewed or improved.
